- Plagiariam is using someone else's words and saying the words are yours or not citing them.
- Citing just means that you are giving the author credit by using their name in your paper and their exact words in quotes.
- Avoid plagiarism by taking notes when you perform research.
- Keep track of the where you found the materials, the pages you used, and writing down notes on the material in your own words.
